We were so delighted to celebrate our community with energizing performances by local drag queen Tara Hoot and Eastern High School’s marching band, the "Blue and White Marching Machine.” Check out some of the photos from this year’s celebration. Join the ACLU of the District of Columbia as we celebrate! Our annual Bill of Rights Celebration will take place the Atlas Performing Arts Center on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Join us as we celebrate another year of defending civil rights and liberties in the District. We’ll be hosting an exciting evening of entertainment, community, and honor members of our community who have made outstanding contributions to preserving civil rights. We will be awarding:
- The Henry W. Edgerton Civil Liberties Award
- The Alan and Adrienne Barth Volunteer Award
- The Arthur B. Spitzer Lifetime Achievement Award
