Nathan comes to us after joining Teach for America in Las Vegas, and most recently served as an Assistant Principal at with D.C. Public Schools. Nathan has a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and received a certificate in Data, Statistical Inference, and Modeling. He also speaks conversational Spanish and has trained as an advocate for unaccompanied immigrant minors in US detention, and he taught English as a second language to adult immigrants.
In high school, Nathan was an all-state trumpet player, and has dabbled with a half-dozen other instruments for fun.
