We filed this Freedom of Information Act lawsuit in September 2007 seeking “all records relating to the killing of civilians by U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan since January 1, 2005.” In January 2008 the district court ordered the government to produce documents on a rolling basis; in January 2010 it completed production of tens of thousands of documents. Because the parties were able to resolve issues about withholdings during the course of the production, we dismissed the case on March 12, 2010.
